Student Exchange Program

Student's contributions to my research were all based on student exchange programs (e.g. ERASMUS) with foreign institutes. I fancy this cooperation above all for several reasons. Those students are usually well above average, they have a purpose and they are willing to set themselves "In Motion".
From my own experiences I know the impact of staying in foreign environments on one's personality. Your mind is free from social ties which leads to high productivity. While being inside a different culture and scenery your observations will change your point of view. Again, looking at things differently also creates new ideas and solutions for your work.
Student Exchange Programs are the foundation of Transfer of Knowledge attempts between Research Institutes. In the global competition the European research community needs to attract and connect researchers, thus drawing from and guiding the global course of knowlege. Some recent succesful cooperations between ISR and:

• IAT, Universität Bremen, Bremen, GERMANY
